Announcing the “Around the World” Travel Inspired Photo Exhibition
Get ready to embark on a travel journey through a camera lens! The Lakeway Photography Club is thrilled to announce their second annual members exhibit, “Around the World,” showcasing captivating travel photographs inspired by stunning destinations. This unique exhibition will be held at the Lake Travis Community Library from August 1st to 29th, 2026.
A Photographic Exploration of Our World
“Around the World” invites members to delve into the depths of their favorite travel destinations and translate these worlds into stunning visual photographic compositions. Whether it’s capturing the essence of an ancient culture, striking architecture or breathtaking exotic landscapes, the exhibit promises a diverse and thought-provoking collection of travel photography.
Submission GuidelinesÂ
To participate in the “Around the World” exhibit, Lakeway Photography Club member photographers must submit their work online. Selected photographs will be displayed at the Lake Travis Community Library during the month of August. Call for Photography is open until May 31st at 5pm. Entry form will open on May 1st.Â
Join Us for the Opening Reception
Mark your calendars for the opening reception on Saturday August 8, 2026 from 2-3pm. This event will provide an opportunity to meet the photographers, admire their work, and engage in lively discussions about the power of travel and photography.
