2024 Lakeway Photo Festival Announces Winners!
The City of Lakeway Arts Committee announced the winning photos for the 2024 Lakeway Photo Festival on September 22, 2024 at the Lakeway Activity Center. There were 180 beautiful digital photographs entered from 60 talented local photographers – the highest numbers ever! The 12 categories this year were Abstract, Architecture, Birds, Community, Deer, Drone/Aerial, Greenscapes, Macro/Close-up, Pets, Skyscapes, Waterscapes and Wildlife. Celebrate Women Behind the Camera this Spring
The Lakeway Arts District presents the Women in Photography art exhibit, on display from March 1-30, 2024 in celebration of Women’s History Month. This exhibit will feature the work of local women photographers, showcasing their diverse perspectives and talents. It will also include portrait photographs of women which celebrate women’s history, issues, and rights and explore themes of voting, equality, health, beauty, motherhood, and more through photography. Women in Photography Exhibit to Showcase Work of Local Photographers

The Lakeway Arts District is seeking submissions for the debut Women in Photography art exhibit, which will be on display from March 1-30, 2024 at the Lake Travis Community Library in celebration of Women’s History Month. This exhibit will feature the work of local photographers, showcasing their diverse perspectives and talents as well as compelling photographic portraits of women subjects.
