Celebrate Women Behind the Camera this Spring
The Lakeway Arts District presents the Women in Photography art exhibit, on display from March 1-30, 2024 in celebration of Women’s History Month. This exhibit will feature the work of local women photographers, showcasing their diverse perspectives and talents. It will also include portrait photographs of women which celebrate women’s history, issues, and rights and explore themes of voting, equality, health, beauty, motherhood, and more through photography.
Photography has long been a powerful tool for storytelling and social commentary. In the hands of women photographers, it has been used to document the experiences of women and girls around the world, to challenge stereotypes, and to promote equality.
Why celebrate Women in Photography?

Mark your calendars for the Women in Photography art exhibit at the Lake Travis Community Library in March 2024! The exhibit is a free event and is open to the public. The artist reception will be held on March 9th, 2024 from 1:30-3pm at the library.
