Women in Photography Exhibit Opens

The Lakeway Arts District presents “Women in Photography”, a special photo exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1st - March 30th at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit includes dramatic photos both by women photographers and portraits of women taken by local photographers. The exhibit was inspired by women's history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. We invite you to join us at the Artists Reception on March 9th from 1:30-3pm. Light refreshments will be served and it is open to the public. Feel free to enjoy this exhibit anytime in March during regular library business hours. Also please visit the sister exhibit "Women in Art 2024" at the Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria from February 3rd to March 22nd to see the stunning artworks of 68 local women artists.

Mark your calendars! The much-anticipated Awards Reception for the 2024 Lakeway Photo Festival is happening next Sunday, September 22nd, at 4:00 PM at the Lakeway Activity Center. Join us as we celebrate the creativity and talent of all the photographers who participated in this year's festival. We'll be announcing the winning photos in each category, and it's sure to be an exciting afternoon!
