Lakeway Photography Club Meeting
Lakeway Photography Club Meeting
Lakeway Photography Club (LPC) hosts quarterly meetings at the Lake Travis Community Library. The LPC is an informal group of photographers of all ages and experience who are interested in exploring photography as an art medium. We strive to help everyone improve their individual photographic styles, as well as to learn more about the art and science of both film and digital photography. Our meetings are free and open to the public. We will have a demonstration of the Adobe Lightroom photo editing software and share tips on photographing the total solar eclipse on April 8th. For this meeting’s photo share, submit your “Holidays” theme photos on our Facebook page. We also hope to see you on March 9th from 1:30-3 PM at the reception for the Women in Photography exhibit March 1-30 at the library.

Women in Photography Exhibit Opens
The Lakeway Arts District presents “Women in Photography”, a special photo exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1st - March 30th at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit includes dramatic photos both by women photographers and portraits of women taken by local photographers. The exhibit was inspired by women's history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. We invite you to join us at the Artists Reception on March 9th from 1:30-3pm. Light refreshments will be served and it is open to the public. Feel free to enjoy this exhibit anytime in March during regular library business hours. Also please visit the sister exhibit "Women in Art 2024" at the Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria from February 3rd to March 22nd to see the stunning artworks of 68 local women artists.
